Summer and Music FKA 720We had the honor of building a 2,500 sq. ft. street course with a mural by Dave Van Patten across the entire thing for Long Beach's ultimate summer-long free concert series: Summer and Music (SAM) FKA 720. The event was a tremendous display of the local Long Beach skate scene coming together. We kicked off with a free skate clinic courtesy of the A.skate Foundation followed by a tricks for cash best trick contest hosted by local MC hypeman extraordinaire Aaron Ajax Johnson while skate DJ legend Tuan Digglz spun some tunes. When we finished giving out all of the cash and the sun went down, we moved some of the skate obstacles off to the side and turned the skatepark into a dance party while DaM-Funk set audio fire until 10pm. Huge shout out and thank you to the Downtown Long Beach Association for making such an amazing event a reality.Go Skate Day Depop x Dickies Girls Launch PartyMini ramp with custom mural by Sebo WalkerFor the Launch of the Dickies Girl x Depop on Go Skate Day, we hooked our new friends up with 4’x12’ Keen Ramps mini half pipe for professional skateboarder and kick ass artist Sebo Walker to create a unique and rad looking skateable art piece right on Sunset Boulevard. We’re looking forward to more girls making a splash in the skate world! Also, Iooking forward to doing more stuff with Sebo!Go Skate Day ETN Network King of the Hill Ramp JamKing of the Hill BBQ Ramp Jam in LA, offering bbq for the hungry and skateboarding for the hungry skaters mixed with an incredible view. A big crew made it to the top of the hill including a line up of heavy hitters like Ishod Wair, Dan Plunkett, Justin Strubing and so many more.
